Labion participated at the last ENM – Smart Multifunctional Material in Berlin (Germany). The meeting, focused on the latest trend in material science and on its application in medicine, was attended by about 80 scientist coming from Europe, US and Asia.
The EMN Meetings grew out of a small workshop series that began in 2008 in Orlando, Florida. Now this conference has grown and several events are organized around the world every year.
Dr. Carlo Morasso was present discussion the potential of the coupling between nanostructured plasmonic materials and Raman spectroscopy for the ultrasensitive detection of biomarkers. In particular the talk was focused on the development of a Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) based microarray.
