Recently, AXA has published a report of Corporate Responsibility 2014. We have participated in the preparation of the chapter about the calculation of SROI, as one of the beneficiaries of funding for projects destined to the young generation. In fact, AXA Italia has decided to calculate the impact of the investments in order to estimate, from the economic point of view, the social benefits generated.
Among the six projects taken into account, there is also the scholarship destined to Don Gnocchi Foundation for two young researchers (Silvia Picciolini and Alice Gualerzi) of the LABION. The topic of the research project supported by AXA is the identification of plasmatic biomarkers for improving the diagnostic accuracy of Alzheimer disease, in order to provide a more efficient and personalized care.
