SPEC2024 is the 13th conference in the SPEC series, held on June 3-6 June, serving as a bridge between clinical and spectroscopy research.
Clinicians, along with researchers from industry and academia, came together to showcase and discuss recent advancements in spectroscopic techniques with immediate or potential impacts on healthcare.
In the stunning setting of Ioannina, the conference highlighted progresses in cytology, histopathology, surgery, diagnostics, and therapeutic research, as well as the challenges of integrating spectroscopy into clinical practice.
LABION had the opportunity to interact with leading figures in the field of spectroscopy and to share its research through a fascinating oral presentation on the optimization of a standard procedure for Raman Spectroscopy (RS) bulk characterization of Extracellular Vesicles derived from different biofluid.
Additionally, a poster was showed on the development of an analytical method based on RS to detect salivary pathological α-syn in people with Parkinson’s disease compared to healthy subjects.
A really great experience for our team!
