Great News!

Dr. Marzia Bedoni, head of the Laboratory of Nanomedicine and Clinical BioPhotonics, co-PI of the European CORSAI project (PI: Dr. Paolo Innocente Banfi), was invited to speak at the EP PerMed Conference dedicated to Personalized Medicine Research held in Berlin on February 11-13th, 2025.
CORSAI is a project focused on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), which is currently the third leading cause of death worldwide. Its clinical and economic management represents a burden for healthcare systems across the globe, and due to the presence of different phenotypes and comorbidities, the diagnosis is really complicated as well as the decision of the appropriate personalized therapy.
Dr. Bedoni had the opportunity to present the progress made, the objectives achieved, and the remaining challenges to overcome before the project’s conclusion.
The positive feedback received regarding the innovation and the fluent flow of activities motivates us to continue doing our best! For more information about the CORSAI project, you can visit the link provided here to the page on ClinicalTrial.gov (CORSAI project)
