One of the most recent trend in bioanalitical chemistry relyes on coupling different techniques in order to profit from the strengh of each approch.

A recent review book chapeter from scientists at Plasmore, ImaBiotech and Don Gnocchi Foundation (Dora Mehn) recalls the strategies for coupling biosensors and label-free analysis with mass spectrometry (MS), focusing primarily on surface plasmon resonance (SPR)  and MALDI mass spectroscopy.
