The LABION’s fall season has started with the partecipation to the European meeting of the Nobel project held in Milan at IRCCS S. Maria Nascente. Nobel is a H2020 project that triggers the convergence of Nanomedicine with other Emerging Medical Tech in Europe.
On the 5th October, Labion prpoudly participated to first meeting for the consitution of the Italian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (EVIta) supported by the ISEV international community and collecting the most active Italian scientists working in the field of extracellualr vesicle research.
On the 11th October Dr. Bedoni and Dr. Gualerzi were in Seattle, WA for the 7th Symposium on Regenerative Rehabilitation organized by the International Consortium for Regenerative Rehabilitation with the support of AR3T initiative. The symposium was the opportunity for Labion to tighten the collaboration with Dr. Ambrosio from the University of Pittsburgh and to meet some of the leading experts in the field of regenerative medicine and rehabilitation medicine.
Regenerative rehabilitation was also the focus of Dr. Bedoni’s invited talk at the International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation held in Pisa, hosted by Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna bringing together researchers and students from the fields of Clinical Rehabilitation, Applied Neurophysiology, and Biomedical Engineering to promote, feed and encourage this therapeutic global shift.
Last but not least, Dr. Picciolini presented her latest work on the development of a SPRi platform for the characterization of neural extracellular vesicles at NanoMedicine 2018, a conference focussed ong recent advances, difficulties and breakthroughs as well as emerging and future trends of the converging fields of Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Medicine.
