Fondazione Don Gnocchi and Istituto Nazionale Tumori speaked out power of the Nanomedicine against the cancer: NANO WORLD CANCER DAY 2014
On the 31st of January ETP Nanomedicine and its partners organize the Nano World Cancer Day 2014, a pan-European multi-sites press conference in 13 European Member States. The Italian partner, Fondazione Don Gnocchi asked to the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori to host and co-organize the event.
The Nano World Cancer Day is an annual pan-European multi-sites event happening in the framework of the World Cancer Day (February 4th) and under the aegis of the ETPN. Beneficiating from the media coverage of the World Cancer Day, the goal of these simultaneous press conferences was to raise awareness about solutions to fight cancer by using nanotechnologies for better diagnostic or improved therapies. The Italian partner, Fondazione Don Gnocchi asked to the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori to host the press release and it was very successful (below some links of articles and interviews).
Building on the success of last year’s edition, Nano World Cancer Day 2014 will focus on shedding light on the four following themes:
- Cancer today: what is at stake.
- Nanomedicine for cancer: what it is and how it works.
- Nanomedicine is already a reality for patients.
- Yes, we can make it happen faster.
